Robust gearboxes and geared motors

Drive systems from NORD provide high precision and a long lifespan owing in particular to the geared motors' UNICASE design, which was developed by the company in 1981. UNICASE housings are made from one single-piece casting with integrated bearing seats – there are no sealing surfaces that could deflect under the effect of torque or radial forces, which eliminates gearset misalignment problems.

The new SK 9072.1 model is a high-performance 3-stage helical-bevel gear unit with compact dimensions, however with a greater torque capacity and a larger ratio range than is common for the market.
