Robust gearboxes and geared motors

Drive systems from NORD provide high precision and a long lifespan owing in particular to the geared motors' UNICASE design, which was developed by the company in 1981. UNICASE housings are made from one single-piece casting with integrated bearing seats – there are no sealing surfaces that could deflect under the effect of torque or radial forces, which eliminates gearset misalignment problems.

NORD Gear has enhanced its compact line of UNICASE geared motors through design improvements. The new NORDBLOC gearbox design is based on aluminum diecast housings, which have been optimized through FEM calculations.
