Germany – NORD expands upon the flexible NORDAC series of decentral drive components, adding the new SK 200E frequency inverters.

These inverters are mounted on the motor's terminal box, creating a combined, fully integrated drive unit suitable for field applications. The robust systems ensure reliable and price-efficient operation over a wide range of customer applications.

SK 200E drive features sensorless current vector control, an integrated brake chopper and a electromagnetic brake control module. Meanwhile configuration and programming are user friendly.

Despite the focus on price-sensitive applications, the SK 200E units actually provide similar product features as the established panel mounted SK 500E series. Therefore, users can install SK 200E units throughout a plant, benefiting from efficient unified operation.
